Lost thoughts: dream bigger.

I learnt the other day or thought rather a very basic and obvious thing which I’m sure is quite plain and clear to most.

You can dream and try for whatever you want. You only get one spin round the sun so do the most and feel the most.

It’s okay to dream big. You don’t have to be logical or conventional as long as it makes you happy and fills the heart. This time now in your twenties you won’t get back. In ten years who knows you might be married. You might have a mortgage. You might be living in a van. Who knows. And that’s part of the beauty and the mystery in it.

You’re not conventional so don’t be. Don't do things because you think you should or your degree makes sense. I don’t see myself in an office job so let’s not.

What does your heart desire?

It wants to live life to the fullest. See things, see places, live places but not in a rushed way. To meet people and have good wholesome meaningful relationships with people for whatever they are and however long they are. Being grateful for what you have now and not what you don’t, what you could or wanting more. To be present in the now and enjoy it for what it is and not what it could be but seeing the potential all the same.

I’d like to travel. Have a job I love. Do wacky things. Smile. Be present. Relationships change. Sometimes you aren’t what people need right now. And that’s okay.

Also,

it’s okay to feel things. Let them roll with it. Embrace acknowledge and try and think why you feel or felt like that. Writing it down always helps for me. How can you change that energy.

Sometimes the expectation doesn’t meet the reality and that’s okay, you need to address the imbalance between thought and idea.
